Directors
Director: Stacy Burnham
Stacy is a native Houstonian. She is a graduate of Stratford High School where she was a member of the Spartanaire dance Team and served as an officer for two years. She then graduated from Southwest Texas with a degree in dance education. While at SWT she was a member of the SWT Strutter dance team. Stacy served as Head Captain for three years. During her time as a Strutter she traveled with the team to Australia, China, England, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Russia, Sweden, and Turkey, where she performed for many dignitaries and served as an ambassador for the state of Texas. She also traveled to Las Vegas where she studied hip-hop and jazz under Wade Robson and Dan Karaty.
Stacy started her career as the director of the Caney Creek HS Starlettes where she led them to their first National title. She is the founder of the KCHS Tiger Belles and has been their Director for the past 8 years. She also started the dance program at Klein Collins and continues to teach three dance classes a day along with three Belle classes.
Stacy has been a member of the Texas Dance Educators Association for the past 13 years. She was named “Who’s Who Among American High School Teachers”. More recently she was named to the National Honor Roll for Teachers.
Stacy loves being a teacher and dancing.
